Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Fednav Limited is the largest dry-bulk shipping company in Canada. Fednav headquarter is located is Montreal and maintains commercial offices in Antwerp, Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Fednav’s owned fleet comprises 65 vessels, and the Company operates a fleet of approximately 115 vessels—65 of which are ice-class—ranging in sizes from 27,500 to 63,500 DWT. The fleet performs over 800 voyages worldwide, transporting over 30 million tonnes.

Fednav’s experience in Arctic navigation spans close to 65 years, and today’s fleet transports over two million tonnes annually from the North. Fednav owns the three most capable high ice-class icebreaking bulk carriers in the world: the MV Arctic, Umiak I, and Nunavik, all of which are capable of unescorted year-round operations in the Canadian Arctic.
