Tom is a marine ecologist who manages the Centre for Marine Biofouling and Corrosion (CMBC) in Plymouth, U.K. The CMBC provides independent antifouling research and development services to a wide range of marine industries. Tom has specialised in understanding marine fouling community ecology. Tom has international experience of designing, conducting and interpreting experiments aimed at investigating novel antifouling approaches. Tom’s analytical experience includes advanced image analysis, physiological measures of fouling species, molecular analysis of biofilms together with multivariate and univariate statistics.
