Nigel Griffiths Chairs the Marine Advisory Medical Service, and heads the Department of Medical Law. He is based in their Singapore Office and has worked with seafarers for over 35 years both in aspects of the pre employment, in service time and post repatriation. Nigel holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Medical Law from the University of Glasgow, in which he specializes. In the application of medicine, Nigel is a firm believer in the Latin maxim enshrined in biomedical ethics – Primum non Nocere – above all, do not harm.
