Being educated in logistics, I started my career in 1989 with Philips in physical distribution. In 1991 I joined the Port of Rotterdam at the Port Innovation department. I started off with projects in container logistics and later worked on “Chemicals & Logistics” and liquid bulk and tank storage business development projects in the Commercial department.
My role now as Advisor Business Intelligence is to follow what is happening in global liquid bulk cargo flows, markets and logistics. This data I curate for projects and to inform people outside of our company. I am a regular speaker at conferences.
