GLOBAL LINER SHIPPING ASIA
The future rarely moves in predictable, incremental ways. Right now it's moving towards safe, seamless and efficient seafreight, and it's moving fast. Are you ready?
Coming in into 2020, the industry is called upon to implement some of the biggest, most significant regulatory changes in liner shipping. We are coming together in one of the largest shipping hubs worldwide to ask both operators and BCOs about the ripple effect of the operational choices on business, contract management and customer relationships? We also look into the end-to-end seamless customer experience and ask: what does it mean and what does it take to build a supply chain infrastructure to ensure a seamless customer experience? Is the time finally ripe for digitalisation, standardisation and interoperability in the container shipping industry How to address the challenge of transparency? How to do business better?
Join us to get all the information you need on the container market: trade volumes, the ebbs and flows of timecharter rates, asset earnings, the impact of trade wars and sanctions, availability and costs of bunker fuels, and alternative technologies. We close in on the Asian market and opportunities for collaboration and the wider global trade. We will explore in depth the challenges of regional development and what’s up on the horizon.
Hazardous Cargoes Forum
The legal, financial and technical aspects of shipping hazardous cargoes.
At our inaugural Hazardous Cargoes Forum, the event will provide a 360 view of the two key challenges ship-owners, insurers and claims professionals need to be aware of preventing liquefaction and containership fires.
Gathering key stakeholders in the industry, we will be discussing topical issues relating to the legal, financial and technical aspects of shipping hazardous cargoes. We will be looking at how best to protect your crew, vessel and cargo through a variety of panel discussions, case studies and keynote sessions. Day one of the agenda is dedicated to cargoes with a propensity to liquify. Day two will be discussing how to mitigate the risk of containership fires.
