GST Rising Star

This year at GST Europe we are running a 'Rising Star' competition that highlights the work of postgraduate students breaking new ground for the shipping industry.

We welcome submissions from any research projects related to the key themes of emissions reduction, decarbonisation and minimising shipping’s environmental impact.

To enter, please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words to by February 8th 2019.

The work of up to 5 shortlisted students will be shown at the event as a poster display.
The winner will be given a complimentary pass to attend the conference, and the opportunity to present their work to an audience of 450+ leading figures in the industry as part of the main agenda at GST Europe.
