We are delighted that the 2018 IHMA Congress will be held in the international maritime centre of London. This will be the ‘must attend’ event of 2018 for all those with a responsibility for port and marine operations and the industry that supports them.

Congratulations to the outgoing President of the IHMA, Captain Kevin Richardson, for his years of productive stewardship in the role. We wish his successor, Captain Allan Gray, every success going forward.
We would also like to congratulate the outgoing secretary of the IHMA, Anne Carnegie, for her dilligence in seeing to the affairs of the IHMA. She was a big part of making the IHMA Congress 2018 the success that it was.

Held at the IMO Gala Dinner, the IHMA Awards recognise excellence in ports operations and management. Judged in three categories: the ‘safe, efficient and secure’ port award, the individual achievement for harbour masters award, and the port operations photograph of the year award.
