Royi Abramov is the Director of Transatlantic Trade at ZIM, in this capacity he is responsible for the commercial activity of ZIM’s Transatlantic lines in the Americas, Canada and Caribbean area
Royi joined ZIM in 2006, he started in the company’s head office in Haifa, Israel where he held various logistics positions, including Global Logistics Department Manager where he was responsible for all ZIM’s equipment repositioning and supply globally.
In 2012 he was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President of Logistics in ZIM American Integrated Shipping Services in the company’s US headquarters in Norfolk Virginia, where he was responsible for all rail and truck transportation, equipment control, maintenance and repair and container sales in Americas, Canada and Caribbean area. In 2015 he became Senior Vice President of Logistics in ZIM USA and held similar responsibilities specifically for the US.
In October 2017 Royi was appointed to the position of Director of Transatlantic Trade in ZIM.
Royi Abramov holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Haifa University. He also attended various management education programs including Tel-Aviv University.
Royi and his family reside in Virginia Beach, VA.
