Dr. Mikhail Grigoryev is the co-owner and the director of the consulting company GECON

From 1997 to 2000 he worked at the Institute for Geology and Development of Fossil Fuels (Ministry of Fuel and Energy), Director. From 1980 until 1997 he worked at the Arctic Oil and Gas Geology Division, VNIIOceangeologiya (Ministry of natural resources); field experience 12 Arctic expeditions. More than 350 printed papers and 150+ international conference presentations on the subjects of the Arctic mineral resources development, supplying transport infrastructure, investment environment, international relations. Studies have been done for the Presidential Administration, ministries of the Russian Federation, Russian and international oil& gas and mining companies, state scientific centers and within the international projects (Arctic Council, Canada, Finland, Norway, Republic Korea, China etc.). He is member of the Scientific council of Security council of the Russian Federation; scientific and technical councils of the Ministries of Natural Resources and Transport; Scientific Council for the Geology and Development of Oil, Gas and Coal Fields of Russian Academy of Sciences. Full member of the oil and gas branch of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
