President of Marine Response Consultants, Inc.; graduate from the United States Naval Academy and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Over 50-years’ experience in support of maritime industries worldwide as a Salvage Engineer and Naval Architect. Experienced in all aspects of salvage, wreck removal, firefighting, and OHS control/abatement. Routinely performs analyses, investigations and calculations in support of towing, ocean engineering, salvage planning and on-site operations worldwide.

Recent salvage operational experiences include: container ship YANTAIN EXPRESS salvage & fire extinguishment, Jack-up SEACOR POWER capsize and recovery, container ship EVER FORWARD grounding and refloating, SPIRIT OF NORFOLK fire response and remediation, lift vessels ROBERT and NOBLE REGINA ALLEN salvages, container ships GRANDE SENEGAL refloating and GRANDE COSTA D'AVORIO post fire tow, and the refloat of the M/V Bonnie G.

Captain Edgar spent a combined 32-years serving the Country on active duty and within the Naval Reserve.
