Marco Innocentini, the Group Senior Crewing Manager at Scorpio, is based in Monaco and has dedicated over 20 years to the Company. After undertaking various studies including maritime business in the UK and one year in the Italian Navy, Marco started with Scorpio in 2000.

Having initially worked in the Technical and Safety environment to help in implementing the new ISM Code, in 2002, Marco was called by the need to create and lead a separate crewing department.

With the shipping industry radically improving the rights and standards of seafarers, Marco was inspired to partake in this challenge. As a result, he has stayed with crewing over the years, taking on different posts with different responsibilities.

Marco has held his current position for a decade. This holistic experience has allowed him to deliver excellence in the crewing industry. His responsibilities encompass governing and controlling crewing activities across Scorpio's global divisions for a pool of 7000 seafarers of 25+ nationalities and from 12 crewing hubs.
