Master Mariner with over 35 years’ experience in the maritime industry, including 17 years’ sea service sailing at various ranks including in command, on a variety of ships including bulk carriers, log/bulk, multi-purpose, general cargo, container, refer, semi-submersible vessels and passenger ferries. Main area of expertise bulk carriers.

Since 2014 advising on marine casualties and incidents with focus on bulk carrier disputes. Providing advice to Vessel Owners, Solicitors, P&I Clubs, Charterers, Cargo Owners / Insurers addressing a wide range of operational, management and navigational questions. First-hand experience of the operational and carriage requirements for diverse cargoes having sailed extensively on the above mentioned vessels.
