Experienced in all commercial and legal aspects of dry bulk vessel and grain terminal operations, charterparties, contracts of affreightment, ship purchase and sale and newbuilding contracts, freight derivatives, ship finance, shipping joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and issuance of debt and equity by shipping enterprises, corporate governance and accounting, marine insurance and reinsurance matters and commodity sales disputes.

From 2000 to 2006, a director, president and previously executive vice president and general counsel, of Navios Maritime Holdings Inc., responsible for the overview of commercial operations of a fleet of over 40 owned and time chartered dry bulk carriers.
